Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson recently spent time answering questions for the Senate Judiciary Committee as a part of the confirmation process for her quest to become the next U.S. Supreme Court justice. When Senator Marsha Blackburn asked her to define the word “woman,” Jackson replied that she could not answer that question. And her excuse? … “I’m not a biologist.”
Well, the reason she could not answer the question is not actually that she could not answer the question. She knows good and well what a woman is. She is herself, after all, a woman. No, the reason she would not answer the question is that she has a political agenda that would be sidetracked if she actually gave an answer to the question.
In modern times, the political left is determined to promote the homosexual agenda, and in particular the transgender subset of that agenda. Transgenderism has become the new civil rights cause celebre of the modern American left, and admitting that there is an objective biological foundation for womanhood (the biblical point of view) would undermine their claim that it is possible for a person to change sexes.
