That’s the problem you run into when you try to promote beliefs and policies that don’t align with reality. At some point the lies accumulate to a point that they can no longer be hidden or defended.
Cancel culture is built on lies. It is a societal phenomenon that has been happening in American society over the last several years where certain beliefs are considered to be taboo, and anyone who gives voice to a tabooed belief is shamed or, in various ways, “deleted” from the public square.
In recent years, this practice has been primarily directed toward Christians, political conservatives, or anyone else who voices traditional religious beliefs or values. The most prominent evidence of this practice has been seen in the public shaming of people in the news media (most prominently in the mainstream legacy media), shaming in public by prominent politicians (primarily liberal politicians who are promoting socialist policies), and on social media (where social media companies are banning particular prominent voices who promote traditional values, or are otherwise limiting or censoring opinions they disagree with).
But that kind of cancel culture has a way of ultimately destroying itself. (C lick here to continue reading.)
