Justine Ang Fonte is a self described sex-positive educator. She has been responsible for developing sex education curriculum for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Some of her special trainings include such topics as pornography literacy and consent. Her stated goal is to teach healthy sexuality, and she does that at various schools. It seems that not too long back she got in trouble in one school for showing masturbation videos to first graders.
When this story made the New York Post (and was later picked up by other media outlets), she started receiving a lot of flack from the general public. At the same time, she began receiving all kinds of support from other sex education teachers and researchers. They all lined up behind her stating that the material she taught was in line with national sex education standards and W.H.O. guidelines.
