Is it important at all to structure society in a way that corresponds to the way the Bible describes reality? Well, if a particular society, overall, decides to structure it in some other way, it certainly doesn’t prevent individuals from living life from birth to death, or even from possibly knowing a personal relationship with God and worshiping Him. After all, even if a society accepts abortion on demand and “alternative” family structures, rejects the concept of gender, accepts open borders, permits voter fraud, allows public sidewalks to be used as bathrooms, and many other things that indicate a degenerate society, that doesn’t prevent individuals within the society from knowing God. So what is the big deal, right?
Well, there is a big deal to be made. Reality does exist in some objectively real way, and it doesn’t exist in any other way. For instance, as it relates to the material world, gravity works even for people who don’t believe in it. If a person jumps off of a tall building without a parachute, it will kill them even they think they can fly. By the same token, there are some substances that the human body cannot assimilate. If people eat poison it will kill them, even if they believe they are immune. And the human body is fragile and can be shattered. If a person drives their car into a solid wall at 100 miles per hour with no seat belt, they will be killed, even if they believe they are invincible.
